Hows It Work
It's a weekend festival; Friday through Sunday (October 1–3, 2027).
The Setting & Lodging
The setting is a beautiful mountain retreat. Bring your camper, or rent a tow-behind, and have someone bring it for you.
If you're poor, you can also sleep in a tent if you want. Like...maybe you're the kind who likes to pretend they're homeless?
What's Provided
Anyway, here is what will be taken care of for you:
- Bathrooms and Showers will be provided.
- Water, Drinks and obviously tons of food, will be provided.
- Entertainment: Movies, Music, Contests, etc., will be provided.
The Vibe & The Crowd
This is a bunch of awesome people getting together, cooking, making stuff, eating, drinking and enjoying a weekend.
There will be people of all ages; some young, most too old, and a few just right.
F.A.Q.
Will there be medical staff on site?
There will be a best-effort doctor on-site 24x7, so go nuts. If he's awake, he may help you.
So...is this like Burning Man?
It's just like Burning Man, except less MDMA and we'll be passed out on sparkling water by 9pm.
Where can I find out more information about wtf will be going on at this thing?
We will be adding ideas of how we plan to fill the festival with all sorts of stuff, so check back regularly, or join the WhatsApp Announcements group at: WhatsApp Announcements Group ↗
I don't have a camper, and I don't like sleeping outside. What do you suggest I do instead?
Stay home.
I don't have a camper, but I don't want to miss out on the awesomeness. What do I do?
So you don't want to rent one? You don't want to sleep outside? Fine cheapass...come, enjoy, drive the hour home.
This sounds like an amazing experience with my best friends, but is there a payment plan option?
After all that useless crap you buy on Amazon, you don't want to pay for an experience of a lifetime? Stay home.
This sounds like a lot of work. Do you expect me to do anything other than eat, sleep, and be fat and happy?
You can participate as much or as little as you want. Also, consider staying home.
Will this festival be safe?
Stay home.
I hear you will be roasting pigs and lamb. Sounds barbaric; why not just focus on vegetables?
Stay home.
What if I want to bring a friend?
Consider yourself lucky that you know one of the founding members, and were invited. We will be publishing a test to vett friends, but mostly likely they will not pass.
I wasn't invited to this. Can I still come?
Stay home.
Is this some kind of cult thing?
While there may be some freak mountain-hippies running around the woods all hopped up on club soda & lime, we have no religion. But seriously..."Jooooiiiinnnnn Usssssss. It's what's missing in your life!".
Is this legal?
Completely. We're just roasting meat, canning sauce, and hanging out on private property. Just don't make it weird. Also, this is strictly a private gathering for our friends, not a public event. If you were not invited, stay home.
Is this thing real?
Maybe.
